The team at KBW Community Management is highly experienced and professionally focussed on offering our clients excellent service, balanced advice and personalised support.

We have many years in body corporate management and development and pride ourselves on keeping up-to-date about local projects, industry changes and legislative impacts.

We provide a full and extensive service to a variety of Bodies Corporate, including Residential, Commercial and Industrial properties, Resorts and project developments.

Our dedicated team of office personnel is based in our Mooloolaba office and provides professional support to our Body Corporate Managers, specialising in key areas including:

Graham & Marion Wareing
Directors/Consultants

Graham and Marion have recently retired from the day to day operations of the KBW Wide Bay Office, however are still actively involved in the business on a Consultancy basis, sharing their extensive knowledge of the body corporate industry.

Our Hervey Bay Office was established in 2003 and Steven Brunjes, Gary Lombard and Brian Towers now manage the Wide Bay portfolio.

Bob Paynter
Director/ Body Corporate Manager

Bob’s involvement in the body corporate industry started in 2005 with the part purchase and amalgamation of two body corporate management practices, which formed the foundations of KBW today.

Previously, Bob was a retailer for 16 years and also spent 17 years in the banking industry, the last two of which were spent as a financial planner.

Bob has a strong understanding of client needs, coupled with a deep knowledge of business management. Bob is based in Brisbane and manages KBW’s assets from Bribie Island to the New South Wales border.

SUNSHINE COAST

Paul Jorgensen
Strata Title Specialist

With more than 25 years experience in the property industry (15 plus years as full time Body Corporate Manager), Paul is well qualified to provide excellent client service as a body corporate manager and consultant.

Paul has expertise in the legal requirements of property management and he has set up many Community Titles Schemes for KBW and past companies. He is experienced in establishing strata schemes and enjoys consulting to KBW clients.
Paul is a practitioner member of the SCA (Qld) and is highly experienced in identifying and resolving issues, particularly for building maintenance and renovation.

Mikayla Parker
Body Corporate Manager

Mikayla joined the KBW Community Management Team in 2007, having had previous experience in the industry.

She commenced her role at KBW successfully administering the position of Personal Assistant to five Body Corporate Managers, and progressed to becoming a Body Corporate Manager in 2012.

Mikayla has completed a Certificate IV in Property Services (Body Corporate Management), and is a practitioner member of the SCA (QLD).

Mikayla is well regarded within this industry as approachable, efficient, a high-level professional, and has contributed significantly to the growth of KBW.

Brendan Carroll
Body Corporate Manager

Brendan is a member of the SCA (Qld) and manages a broad portfolio of residential and commercial properties, as well as providing advice and services for developers establishing new strata schemes.

After an early career in the aviation industry, Brendan brings his more recent experience as a paralegal in conveyancing and property law to his position as a Body Corporate Manager with KBW.

Glenn Bond
Body Corporate Manager

Glenn joined the KBW Community Management team in 2014 and is a practising member of  SCA (Qld).

He manages a portfolio of residential and commercial buildings and is experienced in identifying and resolving issues relating to building maintenance.

Joel Howard
Body Corporate Manager 

Joel joined the KBW team in January of 2021 following time spent in the industry since 2017 and is a member of SCA (QLD). 

Employing a considerate and pragmatic approach to Body Corporate Management, Joel takes pride in his ability to remain approachable to owners and committees. 

Joel is always looking to broaden his knowledge base in the strata industry,  and looks to take away something new from any given situation.

Ryan Wareing
Body Corporate Manager

Ryan joined the KBW team in 2019 and brings with him over 20 years of professional customer service.

Ryan has completed a Certificate IV in Strata Community Management, and is a Certified practitioner member of the SCA (QLD).

Ryan believes in a holistic approach to Body Corporate Management and enjoys the strategic side of providing advice.

Ryan has spent the last 10 years as a senior manager in finance and insurance, and collectively over 20 years in the retail industry, looking after a large portfolio of repeat clientele.

Ryan always exhibits a caring, honest, personalised approach with clients and he appreciates the importance of maintaining long term client relationships.

BRISBANE

Scott Paynter
Body Corporate Manager

Scott is an experienced Body Corporate Manager specialising in the management of existing residential & commercial schemes as well as the CMS related set up pertaining to new developments. Scott’s current portfolio consists of schemes located in Brisbane, Toowoomba, Western Downs, Gold & Sunshine Coasts & Brisbane Valley.

Scott began his career with KBW in 2016 before becoming a Body Corporate Manager in 2018. Scott is a member of SCA (Qld), a Certified Strata Manager and holds a Certificate IV in Strata Community Management. Scott has an extensive knowledge of the SEQ region.

Some of Scott’s best attributes include his communication skills, approachability, optimistic approach as well as a strong work ethic. He believes these are key to being successful in the Strata industry.

Scott has ambitions to grow KBW and to establish long term relationships with his clients.

Nuwan Fernando
Body Corporate Manager

Nuwan began his working career as a biotechnologist, but soon discovered his passion for property. He comes into body corporate management with 8 years of experience in property development and digital marketing. 

Nuwan takes pride in his ability to connect with people and tackles everything with a can-do attitude. He believes in forming long term relationships and strives to achieve the best outcomes for his clients. 

Nuwan is based in our Brisbane office and is a member of SCA (QLD).
